EPS 60 Silver valmistamisel kasutatakse esmaklassilisi soojusülekannet vähendavaid grafiiti sisaldavaid graanuleid ja on seetõttu parim materjal passivmajade ehitamiseks. Võrreldes tavalise valge EPS-iga annab EPS 60 Silver kuni 20% suuremat energiasäästu. Materjali koostises olevad ained vähendavad oluliselt soojuskiirgusest tulenevat soojakadu. Soojusjuhtivus on soojustusmaterjali tähtsaim näitaja. Mida väiksem on soojusjuhtivustegur, seda paremate isolatsiooniomadustega toode on. EPS 60 Silver isolatsiooniplaadid vastavad järjest karmistuvatele soojusisolatsioonile esitatavatele nõuetele. EPS 60 Silver sobib kasutamiseks hoonete välisseinte põhiosade soojustamisel (uusehitistel ja renoveerimisel) koos õhekrohv-viimistlussüsteemiga ning ka lamekatuste soojustamisel.Soojusjuhtivustegur λD W/mK 0,032.
